Welcome to brewing.lustreking.com

You can make your own beer? That was what I thought when I first heard about homebrewing while I was in college in 2002. I did some research on the web and decided I had to try it so I ordered a kit. It actually turned out pretty good and I made a couple batches before I moved. I took a couple years off because I didn't have the room or the time to brew. In 2006 I finally had a house with some room in the basement and began brewing again. I no longer have room in the basement because it is filled with brewing gear! I brew all-grain beer, as well as make wine and mead. I've even roasted my own coffee beans at one point. I like to think of my self as a "Beverage Hobbyist."
