A friend approached me, and asked about building a sparge manifold. I had some ideas that I wanted to experiment with, so I offered to build it. It fits a 10 gallon round cooler mash tun. The water passes through 1/2" cpvc and the support structure is 1/2" pvc. The support structure hangs on the top rim of the cooler. I took a pvc cross, and drilled a hole through it for the cpvc to pass, and another hole perpendicular to it which I tapped and threaded a thumbscrew into to allow you to adjust how far the manifold hangs into the mash tun. I used a boiling water bath to heat the cpvc to bend it.
